Scotland




Scotland is in the northern hemisphere and north west Europe, its area is 78,772 square kilometers, a population of 5,062,011 inhabitants, the capital Edinburgh and the most populous city and is known Glasgow, the climate is temperate oceanic.
The currency is the £, the political regime is the independence movement, the dominant religion is Christianity. The fauna consists of sheep, seals, macareaux... The flora is composed of wild moorland and heather, the most famous mountain is Ben Nevis (1344 meters) and Scotland is also known for its lake which has the legend to host a very special monster (the monster of Loch Ness).
The two spoken languages ​​are English and Scottish Gaelic, their national anthem are Flower of Scotland and Scotland the brave.






Urquhart Castle is the castle along the lake of Loch Ness. Very elongated, the loch extends about 39 km, its width varies from 1.2 to 2 km and its maximum depth is 258 m. With 56.4 km ², is the second largest lake in area of Scotland, after Loch Lomond, but the greatest volume. Many traditions exist in Scotland such as kilts and bagpipes.
